God & Christ care was founded in 2011 by a couple, Chris and Golda Obinzu, in San Antonio, Texas. Chris and Golda knew they were meant to spend their lives together when they bonded over their joint belief in the importance of serving their community and fellow human beings. After experiencing the difficult decisions of how to care for their aging parents, Chris and Golda found the perfect outlet to care for others in creating God & Christ Care, a home health care agency that strives to care for others in the same manner they wished their own parents to be treated. It was not enough to only ensure their own parents would be well cared for- because of their deep commitment to leadership through service, they chose to create a company that would ensure that the love they feel for their fellow human beings would shine through the services they provide. Their diverse backgrounds helped them shape God & Christ Care into the agency it is today: a place of healing, restoration, and growth. God & Christ care now serves 94 counties surrounding San Antonio, and will continue to expand to meet the community’s needs.
"We commit ourselves to serving you and your family with the exceptional loving care that builds relationships. We cherish each patient as our own family member and our emphasis is on never being able to give too much."
Chris comes to San Antonio by way of New York. He is a lifelong entrepreneur, owning businesses that each uniquely dealt with helping his clients become their very best selves, which has led him to his true passion: helping others heal, restore, and grow through compassionate care. His extensive fashion and retail background taught Chris the importance of personal presentation, self esteem and positive self image, and carrying oneself with pride and dignity. The fashion industry relies on people, and Chris’ belief that every person is equal lead to his success in managing his hard-working staff, as well as multiple showrooms. His work with top industry designers, celebrities, and the famous New York Fashion Week shows his commitment to working with clients who have very particular needs- and delivering incredible results. Chris began with a private fashion label, and through his dedication to his company, turned the label into a 1.3 million dollar gross revenue. Chris intertwined his work with that of a financial advisor for many years; he found a deep fulfillment in helping others plan for the long term. Chris understands that so much in life is out of our control, so we must plan for what is controllable, and he does this by helping individuals plan their finances. Chris has also worked extensively with youth organizations through his church, helping lead efforts to lift up the local homeless population through housing and financial discussions. This humanitarian spirit puts Chris in the perfect position to lead God & Christ Care. His boundless spirit of generosity overflows into his work; and his experience with helping people in every facet of their lives- be it emotional, spiritual, financial, or physical- helps strengthen his confidence that God & Christ Care is the premier facility for care in San Antonio.
